Madison Flute Club youth choir: We will begin rehearsals the second week of October with a final performance on Saturday, October 27 th at 7:00pm. All rehearsals and performances are held at Bethany United Methodist church on Mineral Point Road located near west Madison. Middle School rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:15p-8:30p while High School is on Friday from 7:15p-8:45p.
High School students get the opportunity to play the auxiliary flutes including the alto, bass, and the Contrabass flute (yes we have one!)

Frank Ticheli and the Milwaukee Music Festival High School Honor Band:
Frank Ticheli will serve as the conductor of the annual Milwaukee Music Festival High School Honor Band, November 16-17, 2018! Audition information will be sent to schools on or around September 15. Don’t miss this opportunity for your students to perform under Mr. Ticheli.
High school band students from around Southeastern Wisconsin are invited to join the members of the UWM Youth Wind Ensemble program (UWAY) for a special Open Reading Session on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 (6:30-8:45pm). Canadian Brass Solo Contest:
To enter, contestants aged 13-18 will submit their performance of Albinoni's Adagio, accompanied by SmartMusic. No purchase is necessary: a free SmartMusic trial subscription is available.
One winner will get a Skype lesson with a member of Canadian Brass, a set of the newly released Canadian Brass Mouthpiece Collection for their school, and an assortment of fun swag from both MakeMusic and the Canadian Brass.
